Jimmy Michael Obituary

MAULDIN — Jimmy Ray Michael, 70, husband of Linda Susan Michael, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 10, 2024 surrounded by his loving wife and two daughters.

Born in Panama City, Fla., he was a son of the late James Minor Michael and the late Ida Mae Todd Michael.

Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed traveling, guns, fishing, playing his guitar and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Michael proudly served his country in the US Army. He retired from the US Postal Service after thirty-seven years as a Mail Carrier.

In addition to his wife of forty-four years, he is survived by daughters, Noel Michael of Mauldin, Autumn Stockton (Jeff) of Mauldin, Harvest Hendricks of Simpsonville, and Nichole Palmer (B.J.); grandchildren, Natalie Michael, Madison Stockton, Joseph Stockton, Aaron Sims, Noah Stockton, Gary Hendricks, and Karter Stockton; great-grandchildren, Kyro Palmer and Kyla Palmer; and his special friends, Dick and Pat Thompson of Mauldin.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date.

The family would also like to express their gratitude to McCall Hospice House and Compassus Hospice for their outstanding care for Mr. Jimmy Ray Michael.
