Paul Thomas Obituary
ANDERSON — Paul Alfred Thomas, Sr., 69, went home to be with this Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center in Anderson.
Born December 4, 1954, in Howell Michigan, Paul was the son of the late Alton Alfred Thomas, II and Pauline Alvernia Brown. Mr. Thomas was a retired U.S Navy veteran. He was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and a faithful member of South Main Chapel and Mercy Center in Anderson. Paul loved to play chess, enjoyed his RV travels with his longtime friend Don and especially loved the beauty of the national parks.
Survivors include his three sons, Luke Thomas of Melbourne, Australia, Timothy Thomas of Aiken, and Paul Thomas, Jr. of Aiken; two brothers, Mark Kiley, and Wesley Kiley; a sister, Peggy Pomroy; and a very special friend, Don Thurber.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Thomas was predeceased by a sister, Kathy Byard; and three brothers, Danny Thomas, Alton Thomas, III, and Murices Kiley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Paul's honor may be made to South Main Chapel and Mercy Center, 2408 S Main St, Anderson, SC 29624.
