Betty J. Weiler Obituary
Betty J. Weiler, 92, of 930 Columbia St., in St. Marys, died on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, at her residence.
She was born on Oct. 31, 1924, in St. Marys to Samuel and Bessie (Goodwin) Cotterman.
On Jan. 25, 1942, she married Richard B. Weiler, who died on April 18, 2004.     
Survivors include: son Richard "Tom" Weiler of St. Marys; son Michael (Amy) Weiler of Wapakoneta; daughter Deb (Dale) Miller of St. Marys; son Kim (Pat) Weiler of St. Marys; daughter Sherry (Jerry) Willrath of St. Marys; daughter Jammie Siemer of St. Marys; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother William "Joe" (Doris) Cotterman of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by: parents Sam and Bessie Cotterman; husband Richard Weiler; son Randy "Joe" Weiler; daughter Betty Diane Hecht; grandson C. Todd Huey; grandson Michael "Buck" Weiler Jr.; great-granddaughter Heather Best; sister Barbara McEldowney; sister Delores Sawmiller; sister Rosemary Holsinger; sister Dixie Cramer; sister Patricia Chilcoat; sister Louise Zimmerman; sister Beverley Cotterman; sister Judy Cotterman; brother Samuel Cotterman; brother John Cotterman; brother Lester "Pete" Cotterman.
She was a homemaker and worked as a production employee from the Superior Tube Company in Wapakoneta.
She was a life member of VFW Post 5713 auxiliary in Celina.
Her favorite pastimes included camping and spending winters in Florida. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Betty was extremely proud of the fact that her family spanned five generations, encompassing a grand total of 138 descendants. She was a very caring person who will be dearly missed.
Funeral rites are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St. Marys.
Visitation will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed to her family via MillerFuneralHomes.net.
