Bonnie Jean Leugers, 87, formerly of St. Rose, died on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at St. Marys Living Center, St. Marys. |
She was born on Aug. 6, 1929, in Muskegon, Mich., to the late Herschel and Evelyn (Harmon) Atkins.
She married Arthur Leugers on Sept. 15, 1984. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2009.
She is survived by a son: Michael Gowthrop, Angola, Ind.; granddaughter: Tracy and Robbie Robinson; and great-grandchildren Taylor and Nick.
She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and the ladies sodality of the church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Rose Catholic Church, St. Rose, with the Rev. Gene Schnipke celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
