Douglas Edward Hasselman, 56, of North Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Fort Loramie, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016, in Knoxville, Tenn. |
He was born on Nov. 29, 1960, in Sidney, to Edward and Rita (Wendeln) Hasselman.
Surviving are two siblings, Denise Templeton of Alpharetta, Ga., and Jayne and Frank Overman of New Bremen, along with five nieces and nephews: Austin, Dylan and Haley Templeton and Hannah and Ty Overman.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
Mr. Hasselman was a 1979 graduate of Fort Loramie High School. He had been a tool and die maker. Doug liked to spend his leisure time outdoors and especially enjoyed boating and traveling.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Gehret Funeral Home in Fort Loramie, with the Rev. Steven Shoup presiding. Interment of cremains will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
