Autumn Rebbeca Burkhart, 17 of Henderson, KY formerly of Bluffton, IN passed away on November 22, 2016 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville, IN. She was born on November 5, 1999 to James Burkhart and Christy Lynn Higdon. She was a sophomore at Henderson County High School. She had lived in the Henderson area for the last 5 years. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Dale Higdon, her uncle, Dale Higdon, Jr, and her paternal grandparents, Betty Burkhart and Bill Burkhart. She is survived by her parents; James Burkhart of Iowa, and Christy Higdon of Henderson, KY, grandparents; Sondra Higdon of Henderson, KY and Gerald Frederick of Henderson, KY, and Pamela Higdon of Indiana, brothers; James Burkhart, Dakota Burkhart of Indiana, Jacob Burkhart and Braden Burkhart of Henderson, KY, aunts; Ashley Hartely Indiana, Jenny Burkhart , Elizabeth Burkhart all of Indiana Angie Williams of Henderson, KY, and many cousins and distant relatives. Services will be on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2-6 PM. Burial will be on Saturday November 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Fairview Cemetery in Bluffton, Indiana. Online condolences can be made at www.tomblinsonfuneralhome. Memorial contributions can take the form of donations to the Autumn Burkhart Memorial Fund that can be made on the website.

I remember when Autumn would come to my house and I will say what wrong Autuumn she would say nothing i just came to hang out with my sister Ricki I would say ok . There was times I would ask her what is wrong and she would say do u have time to talk to me I would say yes I do what up and we would sit and talk from hours When we was done she would say thank u mama o is it ok that I call u mama I said yes that fine and from there on she always called me mama and i would tell her that she is my adopted daughter. I would tell her to that she has a real mom to. I will miss are talk's and her saying I love ya mama. I love ya Autumn. I am going to miss u like no other loves ya.
