Kathleen F. Johnson, nee: Kijowski, age 73, passed away Saturday July 25, 2015, at her home.
Survived by children, Gordon (Pam) Johnson Jr., David (Debbie) Johnson, Dale Johnson, Dawn (Rodolfo) Cerrillo, Dwayne Johnson, Darrin (Tracy) Johnson and Scott Johnson; 17 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Johnson Sr.; daughter, Robin Cerrillo; parents, John and Lena (Schrader) Kijowski; a brother, who died at infancy; sister, Donna Streitmatter.
Born in Joliet on September 26, 1941, a lifelong resident. Retired from MARS Inc., and was a bus driver for St. Joseph Catholic School. Kathleen loved to dance, Crafts, making costumes for her grandkids, going to Woodsmoke, teaching her grandkids to swim and she potty trained most of them.
Funeral from the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, Thursday, July 30, 2015, at 9:15 a.m. to St. Bernard Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. As per Kathleen's wishes cremation rites will be accorded. Visitation Wednesday, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

I meet Kathy at Woodsmoke during the craft show. I liked her instantly! I enjoyed her company at Bingo. I will miss seeing her and hearing her laugh at my jokes! My heart goes out to her family and friends who knew and loved her.
