Obituary Condolences

Age 42, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 8, 2009.

Survived by his devoted wife, Susan M. (nee Strysik) Steed; his loving child-to-be; parents, Glenn Sr. and Judy (nee Richards) Steed; one sister, Jennifer (Brian) Allen; one brother, Brian (Joanne) Steed; father and mother-in-law, Edward and Kathy Strysik; brothers-in-law, Edward (Marlene), Doug and Steve Strysik; sisters-in-law, Tiffany (John) Bolek and Sarah (Chris) Bosi; also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and a myriad of friends.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert (Myrtella) Steed and James (Valerie) Richards.

Glenn attended Joliet Catholic High School and University of Illinois (at Chicago). Employed for over 15 years by Hendrickson-International, in Woodridge, as a Program Manager. Glenn enjoyed running in numerous marathons, playing in pool leagues, and was an active volunteer for numerous charities. Glenn was a dedicated mentor to many. He was an avid fan of film and music.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Glenn Steed, Jr. Memorial Fund at First Community Bank, 2801 Black Rd., Joliet, IL 60435 in Glenn's name would be appreciated.

Prayer services will be at the funeral home on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 11:30 AM then to the Cathedral of St. Raymond Nonnatus for a Mass of Christian Burial to

be Celebrated at 12:00 PM.

Interment at St. Mary

Cemetery in Plainfield.
