Manning Hutson Born: Feb. 1, 1924; In Mokena, IL Died: March 24, 2014; In Marinette, WI Manning "Bud" Hutson, age 90, Athelstane, WI, passed away March 24, 2014 at Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette. He was born February 1, 1924 to Nevalene and John Manning Hutson, in Mokena. He proudly served in World War II as a Corporal in the 2nd Marine Division in the Pacific Campaign. He married Marion Gertrude Leonhardt, February 10, 1945. They were married for 69 years! He is survived by his wife, Marion; his children, Gregory (Cindy), Deborah Trumpus (John), Douglas (Terri), Geoffrey (Karen) and Robin (Janet); 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one sister, Lois Yunker. After 35 years with Caterpillar Tractor Company in Joliet, Bud and Marion retired to Crivitz, Wisconsin in 1981. While in Crivitz, Bud served on the Crivitz Fire Department for many years as a fire fighter and an assistant fire chief. He also started the first auxiliary police department for the Marinette County Sheriff 's Department. Bud was a member of the Tri County Masonic Lodge 218. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and spending time with his family during his retired years. He was loved and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
