Myron L. Clark Obituary
Clark, Myron L. Age 87, of Lockport, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January, 30, 2013. Born in Kansas, living in Lockport most of his life. He retired in 1988 from UNOCAL Oil after 41 years of service. Myron was a WWII Navy Veteran. Member of the Lockport VFW Post # 5788, former member of the Holy Name Society and former usher at St. Joseph Church, Lockport. Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Olive (Deater), and a brother, Clarence Jr. (Mary) Clark. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Josephine (Litzan); his children, Kevin and Susan (Mark) Danforth; a brother, Kenneth (late Lola); sisters, Geraldine (late Bob) Skeels and Virginia (late Ray) Henderson; several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorials in Myron's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice or St. Joseph Church, Lockport would be appreciated. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 9:30 am from the O'NEIL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 1105 E. 9TH ST. (159TH ST.), LOCKPORT to St. Joseph Church, Lockport for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Services will conclude at church. Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will be held privately. Visitation Monday, 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
