Paul Van Duyne Paul Van Duyne, age 64, of Wilmington, passed away February 2, 2014. Paul was a son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Lukanich-VanDuyne. He was a graduate of Wilmington High School, and honorably served as a Door Gunner in the US Army during Vietnam. Paul was employed at Caterpillar in Joliet, and later joined the Millwrights local, which took him as far as Alaska working various jobs. He was a life member of Wilmington VFW Post 5422 and will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his wife, Jody Miller; one granddaughter in Arizona and many, many cousins, including his good friend and cousin Pat VanDuyne of Wilmington. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; one brother, Ray; and his buddy, Blackie. Visitation Thursday, February 6, 2014, from 4:00-8:00PM at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East KahlerRoad in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Friday at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. Preferred memorials may be made to Kuzma Care Cottage.
