Dear Carolyn, I was sorry to hear that Jerry had passed away. Although it's been years since you and I knew each other in the Kensington Branch of AAUW, I still think of you and Jerry fondly.
With sympathy,

Judge Parr, I was so sorry to hear about the death of your beloved husband. I know that he will be missed by you, your family members, and all those whose lives he touched. May your wonderful memories of him give you comfort. I know he will live on in your hearts. I will keep you and your family members in my prayers.

President Reagan's staff at White House were always great admirers of Jerry, and will be forever grateful. Please advise when memorial service is scheduled.

Ronal Reagan had mentioned that Jerry Parr was a good person which is why he was moved to protect the President, not only because it was a "job", but it was in his heart to save someone's life. Isn't that how we should all be? The loss of another good person is unbearable, but he is not forgotten. I pray that Jerry's family can read this and rely on God now more than ever because Jerry is in God's memory Luke 20:38
