Michael J. Honsik, age 36, of Romeoville, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 12, 2018. He was born in Joliet and was a resident of Romeoville most of his life.
Michael graduated from Romeoville High Schoolwith the Class of 1999.
Surviving are his wife, Nicole Honsik of Romeoville; his four children, Kyle, Logan, Riley, and Ashley; parents, Kurtand Karen Honsik of Romeoville; one brother, Ronald (Misty) Honsik of Joliet; one sister, Amanda (Jeremy) Hipshur of Romeoville; nieces, Annie and Emily; and nephews, Joey and Jack.
Funeral Services for Michael J. Honsik will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is breaking for you and your family. No parent should have to go through losing a child. Mike has touched so many lives. The community has lost a wonderful person who will be missed by many.
