Olga Patino
Olga Patino (nee Maldonado), age 51 passed away unexpectedly Tuesday October 11, 2016.
Born June 9, 1965 and was a life resident of Joliet.
Olga enjoyed her work at the Joliet Public Library, watching her sons play baseball & spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved music of all kinds and could always be found on the dance floor at a party. Although she seemed a petite woman she had a fighter's spirit and always had time to lend an ear to a friend.
She is preceded in death by her brother Guillermo "Willie" Mendez (2002); and aunt, Lupe Chavez (2016).
Olga is survived by her loving husband, Armando Patino of 23 years; her four children, Eusebio D. Arreola, Andres (Angela) Gonzalez, Rene and Jesus Patino; Her parents, Pauline Mendez and Agapito Maldonado; sisters, Terri (Steve) Avery, Janie (Ed) Rodriguez, Mary (Mark Murphy) Shaw, Rosemary (Rich) Nelson: Rebecca (Fernando) Reyes, Hope (James) Hernandez, Mercy (Michael) Rideout; one brother, Michael (Terri) Valeriano; grandchildren, Lily Rodriguez, Jeo Arreola, Lorenzo and Elena Gonzalez. Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren family members and friends.
Olga was the love of her husband Armando's life. When she passed he gave his heart to take with her. He will take care of their children and make her proud.
I love and miss you already and will for the rest of his life. We will meet again when it is my time. Your husband Armando
