I always enjoyed Rick's keen sense of humor. He will be missed, but at least his suffering has ended. Kathy, you and your family will be in my prayers.

Kathy and Family, our sympathy and prayers. I have known Rich since the mid 1970s - Illinois Bell and Bellcore/Telcordia. He was great and fun to work with. Through his teaching he touched the life of thousands of students. Rich is one of the good guys - he will be missed.

RIch was a long time coworker and friend at Bellcore/Telcordia following his retirement from Ameritech. He worked in my 5ESS training group at Telcordia for several years and students loved him. He will surely be missed - tis a sad day.
