Amber Elena Lechuga, 22, of Springfield, Minnesota, died September 25, 2014.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Old Mt. Carmel Church, 407 Irving, in Joliet.
Amber is survived by her parents, Adolfo Sr. (Sharon Theis) Lechuga of Springfield, MN; her sons, Miguel Jr. and Orion Anthony; sisters, Alyssa Lechuga of Springfield, Morgan Lechuga of Heron Lake, MN, Anya Lechuga and Juliana Lechuga both of Springfield; and step-sister, Kayla Sendejo of Wilmar, MN; brothers, Adolfo Jr. of Springfield, Devon Lechuga of Heron Lake.
She was preceded in death by her aunt, Nitsa Lechuga-Hillesheim; uncle, Micheal Hillesheim; paternal grandparents; and paternal and maternal great-grandparents.
Amber Elena Lechuga was born October 2, 1991, in Joliet. She attended Sleepy Eye High School, Minnesota, and Springfield High School, Minnesota, where she was involved in the school choir. Amber worked at various restaurants and businesses in her teen and early adult life.
She enjoyed music, dancing, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Amber was easy-going with a light heart and a free spirit. She is warmly remembered for her sense of humor, contagious laugh, captivating smile, tender accepting soul and the special love she had for her sons. She will be missed by all who knew her. A young soul taken far too early now soars with a renewed spirit to a peaceful heaven.
