Joylene Bournas Obituary

Joylene Ann Bournas

Joylene Ann Bournas, nee Andree, age 90, passed peacefully at her home, Monday, April 24, 2017, with her devoted daughter, Jeannie and longtime caregiver, Ewa Cebula at her side.

Joylene was born in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Alfred and Ethel (Gaff) Andree. Her family moved to Blackstone, IL in 1930. Graduate of Streator Township High School Class of 1945, and St. Joseph School of Nursing, Class of 1948.

Preceded in death by her loving husbands, Lloyd Leupold (1965) and Al Bournas (2008); her cherished granddaughter, Rachael Dahlben (2016); and brother, James Andree (2016).

Survived by her daughter, Jean Dahlben and her children, Lindsay Dahlben, and Brian Dahlben of Boston; one brother, William Andree; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by daughter in Colorado, Joy Ann Beeding and her children, Andrea Young and Amber Young.

Funeral Services will be held, Friday, April 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Entombment Riverview Cemetery in Streator, IL. Visitation Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
