Mike Myers, 65, Delphi, passed away at his brother's residence in Rockfield on May 5, 2014.
Mike was born on Aug. 17, 1948 in Lafayette to the late Wayne Myers and late Carmen Jane (Randle) Myers Stevens. Mike had attended classes at the CDC in Monticello.
Mike was employed at the CDC Resources in Monticello.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge in Lafayette and the Delphi United Methodist Church.
He enjoyed weaving on the loom, knitting, and crocheting. He was a devoted NASCAR and Jeff Gordon #24 fan. He enjoyed competing in the Special Olympics. He was a Purdue University sports fan. He was an honorary member of the Tri-Township Fire Dept. He also enjoyed collecting Native American memorabilia.
He is survived by a brother, Randle (Rebecca) Myers, Rockfield; a sister, Mary Carol (Larry) Sparks, Kokomo; step-father, Gordon Stevens, Delphi; step-sister, Iris Marie (Dean) Ausban, Battle Ground; and step-brother, Gordon Lance (Joanne) Stevens, North Carolina; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Friday from 5 – 8 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Funeral service at Davidson Funeral Home, Delphi; Pastor John Wright officiating.
Entombment will be in the Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum in West Lafayette.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the CDC in Monticello.
