Lucille (Street) Dilling, 69, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at her home in Glendon, N.C.

A native of Moore County she was born April 26, 1944 to Mrs. Jeanne (Hayes) Street and the late Dr. M. Eugene Street Jr.
She enjoyed studying and was a graduate of Carthage School. She also attended over the years Bryan College, the University of Tennessee, and Purdue University. She worked alongside her husband doing silk screening for their family business Twin River Farms in Monticello. Lucy and her husband moved back to Moore County when they retired living in her parent's old home place in Glendon, N.C.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Floyd Dilling; daughter, Theresa (Joe) Komizar, Glendon, N.C.; son, Scott (Tammy) Dilling, Oak Island, N.C.; sisters, Rose Ellen (William) Hancock, Burlington, Nancy (Dave) Pierceall, Glendon, N.C., Carol (John) Caggiano, West End, N.C.; grandchildren, Nathan and Jacob Meyers, Kyle Dilling, Abby Konizar, Jami Kile; and great-grandchildren, Eli and Ethan Meyers and Noah Kile.
A memorial service will be held from noon Saturday at Glendon Independent Christian Church conducted by the Rev. Robert Yandle. Following the service the family will gather at the home for a time of fellowship. Everyone is welcome
