Dear Sally - I didn't get the change to meet Tom, but I'm pretty sure he was a good man having a wonderful wife like you. May he be with God now, and God help you find comfort and healing soon.

Sally - I am truly sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Whenever he'd stop by we would have a good conversation about whatever: Politics, the Marines, or that awesome airplane model he's been working on for so long. While I always enjoyed our time, there is one subject we would sometimes touch on that turned that rugged Marine into a teddy bear, and that's you. As a husband and father, I was so impressed by how tenderly and in such high esteem he held you and his family. No doubt, his absence will be strongly felt for a long long time. But wow, to have a guy who loved you so deeply... what a huge blessing! The prayers of my wife, Jennifer, and I are with you and your family.

We are so sorry to hear about his passing. I just recently discovered that he was my mother's first cousin, probably the last family member that she has. I wish they could have reunited. Our sympathys to the family.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.
