Catherine Gutkowski, age 83, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Friday, November 16, 2012. She was the loving wife for 62 years of Edward Gutkowski. In addition to her husband Catherine is survived by her children, Sandi Bodnar and her husband Stephen of Newtown, CT, Eddie Gutkowski of Norwalk, and Susan Ryder of Boulder, CO, two sisters, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Michael.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Church, Norwalk, 9:30 AM, on Monday, November 19, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Catherine's family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Sunday from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in her name may be made to the St. Mary Church Restoration Fund, 669 West Ave., Norwalk, 06850.

As neighbors of Edward and Catherine, my family and I are deeply sorry for the loss to the Gutowski family and we give our deepest condolences, may she rest in peace and the Lord help your family get through this hard time.

We are so sorry to hear of Kitty's passing. I know the whole family will miss her a lot. I am sure that she will be happy to see Michael and other family that departed earlier and I am sure Elaine will have the Scrabble Board ready for her.
