Czulewicz, Donald V. - Summerfield  
Donald V. Czulewicz Longtime Resident of Norwalk After a long battle with multiple sclerosis Donald V. Czulewicz passed away on December 14, 2014 in Summerfield, FL with his family by his side. He was a long time resident of Norwalk. He had a dedicated career with R.C. Bigelow Tea Company before retiring to Florida. Don served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and later served as a service Officer with the American Legion. He was also a long time member/ officer at the Norwalk Boat Club. Don was a loving father and devoted husband. He spent many summer days at the ball fields watching his son play baseball, or his daughter playing softball. When there were no games you could usually find the Czulewicz clan on the Jersey shore with friends and family. Mr. Czulewicz is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Mary Czulewicz, his son and daughter-in-law Donald and Eleanor, his daughter and daughter-in-law Donna Czulewicz and Amanda Rogers, and his four grandchildren Stephanie, Lauren, Katherine, and Charlie. He is predeceased by his son David. A memorial mass will be held Saturday December 27, 2014 at 10:00am at St. Phillips church in Norwalk. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Marion County, Ocala, FL.

Morris, Rita Harris - Norwalk  
Mrs. Rita Harris Morris, 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 20, 2014. She was born in Jamaica, West Indies on July 7, 1926 to the late Arthur and Tama Harris. Mrs. Morris was married to the late Jeremiah Morris. She was employed as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Greenwich Hospital until retirement. Her memory will be cherished by two daughters; Miralda Morrison (Ethel) and Diana Morris, one son; Michael Morris, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM at Downer Funeral Home, 31 Stillwater Ave., Stamford, CT. followed by a service of celebration at 10:30 AM at St. Mary RC Church, 669 West Ave., Norwalk, CT with Father Greg Markey officiating. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk, CT.

Norwalk Resident Fabio Correa, age 82 of Norwalk, died with his loving family by his side, on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Wilton Meadows. Born in Medellin, Colombia, the son of the late Arcadio and Elvira Correa Velez, he was the husband of the late Judith Correa. A retired draftsman at Perkin-Elmer Corp, he had a passion for cars and loved music and dancing, especially the tango and salsa styles. Mr. Correa also enjoyed soccer, boxing and was a big Dallas Cowboys fan. He is survived by his loving children; Gloria Solerti of Norwalk, Marti Correa Ingerman of Wilton, Patricia Correa Eckert of Monroe, Maribel Correa of Sleepy Hollow, NY and Fabio Nicolas Correa of Stamford, 6 cherished grandchildren; Zack and Taylor Ingerman, Andres Acuna, Christian Solerti, Luca, Ava Luna and Paloma Dominguez, 2 brothers Alberto and Jairo Correa, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Tuesday, December 23, at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Pl, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. Fretina, Rosemary - Norwalk  
Rosemary Fretina, 83, wife of the late John Fretina of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Notre Dame Convalescent Home in Norwalk. Born July 8, 1931 in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Salvator and Anna Marie Forlenzo. At a younger Mrs. Fretina worked as a factory worker. Later in life she worked in child care. She will be remembered as a good natured and loving person. She is survived by her sister Philomena Tabbi of California and by many nieces and nephews, including Maryann, whom she was especially fond of. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fretina was predeceased by ten of her siblings Peter, Albert, Salvatore, Tony, Patsy, Domenick, Frankie, Angelina, Louise and Joseph. Friends may call on Monday from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Notre Dame Convalescent Home, Norwalk, CT. Guerrero, Jaime - Ridgefield  
Resident of Ridgefield Jaime Guerrero, 56, of Ridgefield, Connecticut, passed away peacefully after a long battle against cancer on Friday, December 19, 2014 at his home surrounded by his close family and friends. Jaime was born in San Bernardo, Colombia in 1958 where he lived for 20 years until leaving to travel the world working for various luxury cruise line companies. While working he met the love of his life, wife Nubia, and they moved to Stamford, Connecticut in 1986 to pursue his dreams and raise his family. Jaime was an artistic, passionate, and hardworking man of many talents blessed with the ability to inspire everyone around him. He began his career in the jewelry business, opening Jimmy Jewelers in Stamford, CT in 1996. He then ventured into the restaurant business opening Brasitas Restaurant in Stamford, CT in 1998 and expanding to Norwalk, CT in 2007. Jaime lived his life to fullest enjoying simple pleasures such as cycling, running, painting, reading and cooking. He was a charismatic and generous individual who changed the lives of many. Jaime is survived by his wife Nubia of 26 years, daughter Jeanelle, son Nicholas, mother Mercedes, loving siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Resident of Norwalk Charmaine LeTendre age 62 passed away on December 14, 2014 in Norwalk Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1952 and was a daughter to the late Bernadette Josephine Cloutier & Charles Ward Palmer, Sr. She will be missed by her loving family and many friends. A memorial celebration of Charmaine’s life will take place on Monday December 22, 2014 at 11:00 am DIRECTLY at the East Avenue United Methodist Church, 244 East Ave. Norwalk. Muro Sr., Robert Eugene - New Milford  
New Milford Resident Robert Eugene Muro Sr., 71, of New Milford, CT passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Danbury Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Donna Hunter Muro. Mr. Muro was born in Norwalk, CT, July 7, 1943, son of the late Michael and Helen Davies Muro. He was a retired printer with the Hour Publishing Company, a retired security guard at New Milford High School, and a Deacon at Our Lady of the Lakes Church in New Milford. Mr. Muro was an active member of the New Milford community. He cherished his Catholic faith and was a parishioner at St. Francis Xavier Church before becoming a founding member of Our Lady of the Lakes Church. He played competitive softball in Norwalk and New Milford for over 20 years. He and his wife were very involved in the CYO program at St. Francis Xavier Church for many years. They were also very active in the Marriage Encounter movement. Mr. Muro felt a calling to become a Deacon, and despite being ill, steadfastly completed his studies and was ordained in 1995. He dearly loved preaching, baptizing children, preparing and celebrating marriages, presiding at funeral services, and being available to his parish family. In addition to his wife of 49 years, he is survived by a son, Robert Eugene Muro, Jr., and his wife, Candida of Southington; a daughter Amanda Jean Muro of East Hartford, CT; two brothers, James Muro and his wife Shirley of Norwalk and Michael Muro and his wife Carol of Norwalk; a sister Helen Kurtzman of Norwalk; a mother-in-law, Lucille T. Hunter of New Milford; six grandchildren, Lindsay Marie Butterworth, Jennifer Ann Butterworth, Sydney Hunter Geddis, Trinity Bella Muro, Melody Grace Muro, and Lucia Maria Muro; and two great-grandchildren, Giovanni Christopher Valedon and Alaina Rae Silvestri. He was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Muro. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Francis Xavier Church, 26 Chestnut Land Road, New Milford. Tulin, Ellen - Norwalk  
Ellen Dittany Tulin, of East Norwalk, CT passed away at Norwalk Hospital on November 24, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She fought hard till the end. She was 63. We wish to thank the Norwalk Hospital Team who made her passage comfortable and peaceful. She was born at Andrews Air Force Base in Washington, DC on May 26, 1951. Her father, Lt. Col. Shale L. Tulin (Bud), was a career military man, and the family lived at Wiesbaden Air Force Base in Germany for a number of years. After he retired, the family moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, where Ellen attended high school. Bud Tulin was a former Vice President of the Norwalk Seaport Association and the Executive Chairman of the first Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival. Ellen graduated from Syracuse University in 1973 with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Journalism degree awarded by the Newhouse School of Journalism. She worked as a reporter and writer for a number of years at Brooks Community Newspapers and at Folio Magazine. Ellen is predeceased by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her Uncle John and Aunt Arlene Segall; her Aunt Yvette Radley; cousins Heather, Chris, Jonathan, and Brian; and many friends. Cremation was coordinated by Collins Funeral Home. Internment at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk, CT, was private. A memorial service will be held at Collins Funeral Home on December 27th at 11am.
