Gammer, Elyse - Norwalk  
Norwalk Resident Elyse Gammer of Norwalk, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk on April 23, 1951, she was the daughter of Ernest Gammer and the late Dorothy Bobrowsky Gammer. Ms. Gammer had a distinguished and award-winning career in Marketing Research and as an Association Management Executive. She was a Past President of the national Marketing Research Association (MRA) and served as Chair of the Marketing Research Association’s Professional Standards Committee. An industry leader, she was a well-known guest speaker at conferences and meetings. In addition to her many professional accomplishments, she was devoted to her family and enjoyed entertaining and hosting her family’s activities, especially on holidays. Elyse’s vibrant personality, personal and professional leadership, and deep devotion to her family and friends will be sorely missed. She was a bright light to all who knew her. In addition to her father, Elyse is survived by her sister Barbara Gammer of Bridgeport, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a myriad of friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, at 11:00 AM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. Interment will follow in Beth Israel Cemetery, Richards Avenue, Norwalk. Donations in Elyse’s memory may be made by planting trees in Israel or to a charity of one’s choice.

Geosits, Alice F. - Norwalk  
Norwalk Resident Alice F. Geosits, age 83 of Norwalk, died peacefully at her home on Friday, July 3. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph S. Geosits. Alice was born in Norwalk, the daughter of the late Russell and Stella Razatkie Fallo and has lived there all of her life. She was very involved and supportive of St. Jerome Church and generous with several animal rescue organizations. She will be dearly missed by her family; her son Stephen A. Geosits of Southbury, her son Ralph R. and his wife Eileen O’Neill-Geosits of Danbury, her grandson Joey and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 7, 11 AM at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery. Alice’s family will receive friends at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk on Monday from 5-8 PM. Donations in her name may be made to Regional Hospice & Home Care of Western CT, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury, CT, 06810.
