Harriet Frances Boger

Harriet Frances Boger
(nee Britto)
Formerly of Norwalk
Our mother, Harriet Frances, was born in Norwalk, Connecticut on December 20, 1929 to Harold Britto Sr. and Florence O'Hara Britto. She grew up in Norwalk, attended and graduated from Norwalk High School and worked throughout her life in the Fairfield County area.
Her favorite times were spent among her vast family members, especially finding special enjoyment in large holiday gatherings. She moved to Orlando, Florida over 30 years ago and lived in Poinciana, Orlando, and Mt. Dora. She retired from Martin Marietta and loved her work and co-workers. She was employed making components for defense industry products.
She has been married to our father, Dudley B. Boger Jr., for sixty-three years and they had six children. In order of appearance, they are Christyne (Ralph Robertson), Barbara (William Anderson), Richard Boger (Sherri), David Boger (Nancy), Alyson (James Sergent) and Robert Scott (Wendi). She enjoyed her eleven grandchildren Paul Guthman, Todd Anderson, Colleen Anderson Malarsky, Lindsay Boger Cliatt, Greg Boger, Miranda Boger, Ben Boger, Matthew Boger, Quintin Boger, Austin Boger and Shelby Boger and six great-grandchildren Allie Guthman, Callie Guthman, Tyler Guthman, Camden Boger, Ryan Malarsky and Rylee Anderson. Harriet is also survived by her siblings Anne Legoza of Trumbull, Connecticut, Catherine Yost of Orlando, Florida, and Harold Britton Jr., of Wilton, Connecticut.
We were blessed to have her final weeks spent at home, where she was visited by many family members and friends and we each and severally got to spend some special time with her. We cherish that time we had and thank Cornerstone Hospice for helping us through this journey.
