Lillian Nault Picard Houghtaling, age 95, of Norwalk, died peacefully at Hancock Hall in Danbury. She was the wife of the late Leonard Picard and the late James Houghtaling. Lillian was born on October 18, 1917 in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Adeslas and Emilia Pierson Nault. She was a retired machine operator for Yankee Metal where she had worked for 31 years. Lillian was a member of the French-American Club and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include 4 children Alice Molles of Danbury, Florence deStefano and her husband John of Palm Coast, FL, Edward Picard and his wife Thea of Westport and Paul Picard and his wife Sharon of Mt. Airy, NC, a sister Theresa Pollander of Bethel, CT, many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services for Lillian will be held on Monday, November 26, 11 AM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk with Rev. Michael Boccaccio, pastor of St. Philip Church officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk. Lillian's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-5 PM.
