Marjorie Flynn Obituary
Formerly of Norwalk
Marjorie C. Flynn, 95, of Manchester, died Monday, July 29, 2013 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Born in Norwalk on July 14, 1918 daughter of the late Arthur Jesse Caldwell and Frances (Bassen) Caldwell, she had lived in Norwalk and in West Palm Beach, FL before moving to Manchester in 2007. She was a member of Degree of Pocahontas, Improved Order of Red Men and was a member of the National Great Pocahontas since 1974.
She leaves her daughter, Lynn Redling of Manchester; five grandchildren, Robert Schmidt, Erik Schmidt, Nicole Speaker, Elizabeth O'Shea and William Redling and four great grandchildren, Alicia Schmidt, Kyle Speaker, Marcia Caitlyn Speaker and Jordyn Schmidt. She was predeceased by her son, Richard Schmidt, Jr., and her husbands, Richard C. Schmidt and Gerald F. Flynn.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor. Burial will be private. Her family will receive friends, Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., Tech Center, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.

Lynn not sure if you remember me. Your Mom and mine were good friends for quite awhile. What a great age 95. I am Linda Kelly Hopp. I was sorry to read your brother had past away. Very sorry about your your Mom's passing too.
