Arthur Louis Brien

Arthur Louis Brien (Art), age 72, died on Thursday, April 18th. He was born in New York City, New York on September 4, 1940 to the late Eugene Brien and Frances Wunner. After graduating from Iona College, he started out working as a Certified Public Accountant and moved into Healthcare Administration. Art leaves behind seven children, Kevin Brien Sr., Mary Brien Duch and Thomas Duch, Sue Brien, Arthur Brien, William and Jenna Brien, Jonathan and Jennifer Brien, and Matthew Brien and Rick Tripodi; six grandchildren, Kylie Brien, Kori Brien, Thomas Joseph Duch, Kolby Brien, Kevin Brien Jr., and Jonathan Thomas Brien; one brother, Richard and Diane Brien; one niece, Melissa Miller; and one nephew, Richard Brien. Mr. Brien was a motorcycle enthusiast who loved taking bike trips to Canada with his sons. His hobbies included woodworking and model trains. He loved a good cup of coffee and walking his beloved pug, Buddy. Art was a man with countless stories and leaves behind many good memories with his family who treasured every moment they spent with him. Friends may call on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 4 to 7 pm at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. All other services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to American Diabetes Assoc., 2080 Silas Deane Hwy., Rocky Hill, CT 06067.

I just found out Arthur passed away.I was a close friend of his in the Bronx.We were also classmates at OLA on webster Ave.Ever Sunday in the early 1950s we went fishing at Point lookout on LI. I would love to hear from anyone who new him. [email protected] or 561 270 9893
