Darien Resident
Elizabeth B. Bykowski, 74, a resident of Darien, CT and formerly of Port Chester died April 17, 2013. She was born October 8, 1938 in Port Chester to the late Walter and Cecelia Pilitowski Legutko. She was raised and educated in Port Chester graduating from Resurrection Academy in Rye, NY. She was the widow of the late Stanley Bykowski who died in 1983. Mrs. Bykowski was an avid bowler.
She is survived by her children, Stanley Bykowski of Darien, Christine Knapp and husband George of Darien, Denise Tyler and husband Bill of Auburn, PA, and Melissa Whitney and husband Larry of Norwalk, CT; brother Walter Legutko of Stamford and sister Cecelia Mollica of Jensen Beach, FL; grandchildren Kellie and Kevin Knapp, Jessica and Sean Tyler and Brandon Whitney and great granddaughter Sophia Gerber.
Visitation will be 4-8PM on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. 40 Leicester St. Port Chester, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM on Saturday April 20, 2013 at Our lady of Mercy Church, 260 Westchester Ave., Port Chester, NY. Interment to follow at Saint Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY.
