Emily A. Corwin, 93, of Norwalk, wife of the late Benjamin O. Corwin, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 in Wilton Meadows Health Care Center, Wilton.
Mrs. Corwin was born in Middletown, N.Y. on Nov. 14, 1919, daughter of the late Harry and Harriett Osborne Jubb and had resided in Norwalk and Wilton for the past sixteen years. She was a member of the United Congregational Church, Norwalk and a lifetime member of The Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Patricia and James LoStocco, Jr. of Avon, Maryjane and Chester Hatch of Norwalk and Carol and Craig Neidhart of Garland, Texas; two daughters-in- law, Sandra King of Indiana and Linda Corwin of Farmington, fifteen grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sons, James B.Corwin and Benjamin O.Corwin, Jr., a sister and brother.
Services will be held on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013 at 2 P.M. in the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, with the Rev. Holly Adams, senior pastor of the United Congregational Church, Norwalk, officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Hillside Cemetery, Middletown, N.Y. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 P.M until the time of the service.
