Frederic R. Lexow, II
Westport Resident
Frederic R. Lexow, II, age 49, beloved husband of Nanette Buziak Lexow, of Westport, passed away on September 22, 2012 after a courageous battle with recurring staph infections.

In addition to Nan, his devoted wife, Fred's memory will be embraced by his daughter, Sylvie Sutton Lexow, of Westport; his parents, Eric and Jody Baldwin Lexow, of Jamestown, RI (formerly of Darien); his two sisters, Sarah Lexow Keena, and her husband, John, of Darien, Amy Lexow, of Jamestown; Nan's parents, Frank and Phyllis Buziak, of Beach Haven Gardens, NJ; his sister-in-law, Jenelle Purpura, and her husband, Brian, of Florham Park , NJ; nieces and nephews, Lauren and Henry, Campbell and Oliver, Jack, Elle, and Peyton; Sylvie's mother, Karen Sutton Lexow, of Westport; and many dear, close and loyal friends.
Born in Stamford and raised in Darien, Fred had been a resident of Westport for over 20 years. He graduated from Tabor Academy in Marion, MA in 1982, received his B.A. from Tulane University in 1986 where he was also a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, and later received his MBA from Fordham University in 1993. Fred spent his entire twenty-plus career at J.P. Morgan Asset Management; New York, NY serving as a Managing Director and the former Head of Equity Trading.
A warm and engaging individual, Fred knew how to make those he met feel welcomed by his bright smile and generosity. His colorful clothing style was equally part of his memorable personality. It gave Fred great joy to spend time with his beloved family and friends. An avid New York Yankees and Giants fan, he had a passion for boating, and jokingly referred to himself as a summer resident of Norwalk Cove Marina's B dock. To his guests delight, he was a talented chef, especially when preparing barbecue and smoked foods. Though not an A-handicap golfer, Fred loved golf and was a member of Shorehaven Golf Club, as well as a former regular rider of the 523 Club from Grand Central.
Fred gladly gave both his time and talents to many organizations and charitable causes, serving as a longtime member of the Noroton Fire Department as well as to Al's Angel's, a local organization which assists families of ill children.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-9 PM at the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Luke's Church, Westport, CT. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Green Farms, CT. Attire should be in celebration of Fred.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Sylvie Sutton Lexow Education Fund; care of James Saraceni, Esq.; 5 Mott Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06850.
