John J. Fratino
Westport Resident
John J. Fratino, 92, husband of the late Marian Renzuella Fratino, passed away Thursday, September 27, 2012 at his home in Westport. Born June 9, 1920 in Norwalk, he was son of the late Pasquale and Rose Valiante Fratino.
Mr. Fratino worked as a butcher and was co-owner of P. Fratino & Sons Grocery Market in South Norwalk. He worked hard his whole life and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his son Pat Fratino and his wife Joan of Redding, and two grandchildren John Fratino of Middletown, NY and Kelly Miller and her husband Cory of Washington D. C. He is also survived by his two sisters Katherine Cianciullo of Westport and Phyllis Ragosa of Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday in St. Luke's Church, 84 Long Lots Road, Westport. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
