Joseph J. Delaney III
Formerly of Norwalk
Joseph J. Delaney III, age 52, of Shelton passed away peacefully in his home on Monday, June 18, 2012. He was the loyal and devoted husband of Catherine (Santora) Delaney.
Joseph was born in Norwalk on October 16, 1959 son of the late Joseph J. and Denise (Stepkoski) Delaney, Jr.
He graduated from Norwalk High School, Class of 1977 and attended the University of Miami. Joseph was a crane operator for 30 years and was a member of the IUOE Local #478. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching many teams, especially his “Canes”. He was a dog lover and enjoyed his times with Kelsey, Russell and Oliver.
Besides his wife, he leaves his siblings Linda (Todd) Corbo, Patrick (Aileen M.) Delaney, Jennifer (James) Pagliaro, brother-in-law, Peter Stokes (Mary Ellen) and nieces and nephews, Stephanie, T.J., Michael, Kristen, Caroline, Ryan, Alexis, Jack, Olivia and Rachel.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 AM St. Philip Parish, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk
