Konstantinos “Dino” Melitsanopoulos, 51, of Norwalk, husband of Martha Melitsanopoulos, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 in Norwalk Hospital.
Born August 8, 1962 in Greece, he was the son of Apostolos and the late Anna Angelidis Melitsanopoulos.
Dino immigrated to Norwalk in 1970 with his mother and sister to join his father who had come to the U.S. in 1969. He graduated from Norwalk High School in 1980 and went on to work for Pepperidge Farm for 21 years. He was currently active as a successful real estate broker and President of Atlas Realty.
Dino was a very active person in the Greek Community of Norwalk as well as in the sports interests of his three sons of whom he was extremely proud. He will be missed by family and friends alike.
In addition to his wife Martha, he is survived by his three sons Paul, Dean and Andrew, and by his sister Foula Theodoridis with her husband John and their loving children Danny, Suzy and Anna, as well as his sister-in-law Valerie Sigalos of Stamford, CT. He was predeceased by his mother Anna in 2005.
Friends may call TODAY, December 29th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 238 West Rocks Road, Norwalk, CT. Services will be held Monday, December 30th, at 10:00 AM in the church. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk, CT.
