Marie Lyons Kachur
Marie Frances Lyons Kachur, 79, of Wilmington, NC passed away Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Wilmington Health and Rehabilitation.
Born on November 18, 1932 in Stamford, CT, she was a daughter of the late John Frances and Anne Quinn Lyons and was formerly of Norwalk, CT. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wilmington, NC.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, John Joseph Kachur; four children, Eileen Falcone (Lou) of Norwalk, CT, Jim Kachur (Susan) of Trent Woods, NC, Linda Kachur of Wilmington, NC, Ann Jordan (John) of Sherman, CT; and seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Kaitlyn, Christopher, Jessica, Michelle, Stephen, and Joshua. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Thursday at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel with The Very Reverend Robert J. Kus officiating. Burial will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
