Richard Steven Daher, Sr.
Former Resident of Norwalk
Richard Steven Daher, Sr., 59, of Bartonsville, died Wednesday evening, January 1, at Pleasant Valley Manor, Hamilton Township. Born November 3, 1954 in Norwalk, CT, he was a son of Jean (Sorel) Daher of Norwalk, CT and the late Morad "Roddy" Daher. He has lived in Monroe Cty. since 1986 moving from CT.
Richard was a master carpenter for 30 years having last worked for Dynamic Construction. He loved the outdoors, spending time with his family, and dogs, especially Boxers.
In addition to his mother he is survived by two sons, Kevin and Richard Daher both of Bartonsville; his best friend and mother of his sons, Donna Marshall of Bartonsville: two sisters, Paula Santo of Norwalk, CT and Kathleen Vayda of Stratford, CT; a brother, Thom Daher of Norwalk, CT; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be a visitation from 1:30 to 2:30PM on Saturday, January 11, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. A Catholic prayer service will begin at 2:30PM Saturday at the funeral home.
