Robert L. Blackwell, of Norwalk, entered into eternal rest on July 17, 2012. He was born on November 27, 1944 to the late Arthur and Willie Mae Blackwell.
Robert worked at Community Barber Shop for many years. He was a member of Canaan Institutional Baptist Church where he served as a Trustee; and he was also a member of the Corinthian Lodge where he was a 32 degree Mason.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Adell Blackwell; brothers, Calvin Blackwell of Sandy Hook, CT and Kenneth Blackwell of New Haven, CT; sisters, Janet Blackwell, Valerie Blackwell, Brenda Blackwell, and Gloria Blackwell all of Bridgeport, CT, Patricia Edwards of Gainesville, FL; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 11:00am at Canaan Institutional Baptist Church, 31 Concord St., Norwalk, CT. Calling hours from 10am until time of services. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk, CT.
