Sharon R. Fowler

Sharon R. Fowler, age 73, of Norwalk, died peacefully at the Norwalk Hospital on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Don C. Fowler. Sharon was born on July 8, 1939 in Columbus, Indiana, daughter of the late Raymond and Beatrice Wright Daum. She was retired from the James River Corp. where she had worked for over 15 years and was very active with the United Congregational Church in Norwalk. Sharon loved her family, enjoyed the beach and “lunch with the girls”.
Survivors include her beloved children; Kevin Short his wife Mary and their children Raymond and Brian Short of Windham, NH, Cynthia Bruens and her husband John of Columbia, SC, and their children Lindsay Bailey and her husband Kevin, Rebecca and Leah Slater. Also surviving are beloved step-children Dominique McQuade and her husband Michael of Stratford and their children Desiree Collins, Ariel and Cameron McQuade; Donette Esposito and her husband Anthony of Shelton and their children Antonio, Gabriel, Avalon and Sophia Esposito; Todd and Rachel Fowler of Wallingford and their children Jonah and Hailey Fowler. Sharon was also predeceased by her brother Don Daum.
A memorial service for Sharon will be held at the United Congregational Church, 275 Richard's Ave., Norwalk on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon's name may be made to the church. To sign an online guest book, please go to magnerfuneralhome.com
