Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother
Sophia E. Kyriakides Proskinitria, 91, of Norwalk, wife of the late Elefterios Kyriakides, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Aurora Assisted Living in Norwalk, CT.
Born July 10, 1921 in Pontos, Turkey, she was the daughter of the late Xristos and Anastasia Tsaxirides.
Mrs. Kyriakides was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a very religious woman and active at St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
Mrs. Kyriakides is survived by her son Andy E. Kides of Norwalk and daughter Simela Tsropoulos of Norwalk. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on Thursday, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, Norwalk. Services will be held Friday at 10:00 AM in St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Norwalk. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk. Please visit www.collins-funeral.com to leave condolences.
