Sharon Ann Virgulak
Norwalk Native
Sharon Ann Virgulak, 54 years young, beloved daughter, sister, sister in law, Aunt, niece, cousin and friend has gone home to Heaven to be with the Lord Jesus Christ and her Mom. She was born in Norwalk, daughter of William J Virgulak, I, of Norwalk and the late Ruth Caffrey Virgulak. Sharon attended St. Jerome's and St Phillip's Schools and graduated from Norwalk High School in 1978. Sharon graduated from Katherine Gibbs School of Business, and furthered her life-long quest for knowledge and graduated from The University of Bridgeport with a B.S in Business and River College of NH with a Master's Degree in Human Resources. She had been a long time employee of Fujifilm as Director of Employee Relations before working at the Wilton Public Library, her dream job, at the time of her death. Sharon's beautiful smile and loving heart endeared her to all that she met. She loved to read, laugh and spend time with her family and her friends.
She leaves behind, with a broken heart, her father William, and her five brothers, William J. II and wife, Deborah; Christopher and his wife Nancy; Scott and his wife, Marge; Joseph, and Timothy and his wife Christine. She was the most awesome Aunt to her 11 nieces and nephews and her 3 grand-nieces. Sharon also leaves behind her devoted Aunt and Uncles and her wonderful, dearly beloved cousins with whom she shared so many happy memories and friendship with from childhood and through her life. She was predeceased by her many "favorite" Aunts and Uncles and cousin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 9 at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd, Norwalk. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 9 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. For directions or online guestbook, please go to: www.Magnerfuneralhome.com
