Sharon Marie Morsa

Sharon Marie Morsa, born at Norwalk Hospital on August 11, 1946, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 5, 2014. She was 67. She was the daughter of the Ferdinand (Fred) Joseph Morsa and Mary Theresa Lametta and sister of Fred Morsa Jr., all deceased. Sharon attended Norwalk Public Schools and graduated from Norwalk High School, Class of 1964.
Nicknamed "Little Cow" by her childhood friends, she worked for the Edwards Signaling Co. and Perkin Elmer Corp. in Norwalk. She then relocated to the Bethel/Danbury area and was a faithful member of Bright Clouds Ministries/Faith Church for over 25 years.
She enjoyed music including Elvis Presley, Chicago and Journey, all things purple or lavender, linguine with white clam sauce, Angela Mia's pastries, lobster, king crab legs and pizza. She loved all animals, especially koala bears and her pets.
She will be missed by her large extended family including many uncles, cousins nieces and nephews of her Lametta/Morsa namesake. She had made many friends throughout her years and touched everyone with her amazing, warm, sweet, loving spirit and outgoing personality. She was always thinking of everyone else before herself.
She would like to thank those who cared for her during the final months of her life, especially Danbury Hospital and Dr. Robert Kloss, Danbury Rehab Center, Norwalk Hospital and Dr. Martin Perlin and Aurora Senior Living Center in Norwalk.
She is survived by her son Scott A. Hess of Norwalk and her brother Richard Morsa of Grants Pass, Oregon.
Calling hours will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk on Wednesday, July 9th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 10th at 11:00 am at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
