Kenneth Gunther Futter
WWII and Korean War Veteran
Kenneth Gunther Futter of Bell Island, Rowayton, CT and New York City died peacefully at his home on August 19th. Born December 23, 1924 in Berlin, Germany, son of the late Matthew and Erna Futter. Attended the Kalisky School, Berlin; DeWitt Clinton High School, New York and Antioch College, Ohio. Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Respected management consultant and CPA for advertising, lumber and design businesses and, after retirement, revered SCORE volunteer.
Beloved husband of Lyn Gaylord; devoted father to Catherine and Barbara, step-father to Jennifer and Timothy, brother Bernard and his family and cousin Hans. He will always be remembered for his dedication to equality for all.
Donations can be made to the Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fairfield County or Whittingham Cancer Center, Norwalk Hospital in Ken's name. Memorial service will be private.
