Janet Haskin Obituary
Janet Mulks Sokoloski Haskin, of Interlaken, NY died March 7, 2012 in Summerfield, FL. Janet was born 6/17/34 in Slaterville Springs, NY to the late, Omar and Emma Thomas Mulks. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Molly Yvonne and her brother, Clinton Mulks. She is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, Robert Haskin of Interlaken, her children, Yvonne (Dennis) Lane, Michele (Henry Kwiatkowski) Anderson, Jennifer (Michael) Carlson, stepchildren Sharon (Keith Dickinson) Tyler, Sandy (John) Liberatore, Betty (Joseph) Fuller, Robert (Ann Clement) Haskin Jr, Edward (Michelle) Haskin and Roger (Tonya) Haskin, 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Janet is also survived by her sister, Alice Detrick and her husband Harry Farr, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of Caroline Center Church and sang in the choir, a member of Car Pride Car Club of Ithaca, a Master Judge of AACA and a friend of Bill W.. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Caroline Center Church, Buffalo Rd., Brooktondale, NY with her Pastors Rev Phil Jordan and Rev Ben Hogben. Family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Caroline Center Church or the charity of one's choice.

Our deepest sympathy to a beloved cousin. She always showed so much interest and love in everyone. She was always there with help and a smile for each person that she met. What a beautiful, graceful and loving person she was. She will never be forgotten and will always be a pillar in our family.We offer special prayers for her husband, Bob, her children, Yvonne, Michele and Jennifer and especially her sister, Alice as they were connected to each other by the HEART. I pray that all of Janet's love ones includeing Bill & I will be given extra strength to handle the lose of Janet. She was soo special. May you rest in peace and may God always be withyou. Our deepest sympathy to the family of Janet Mulks Haskin. Special prayers to her children, Yvonne, Michele, Jennifer and her sister Alice and Bob her husband.. Janet had a heart of gold and she was so nice to everyone. She was my very best life long friend and I am going to miss her so much. My heart is very heavy but I know she is not in pain anymore. Many prayers to the whole family to give them stength at this time.
