Ripley, Marion L. Marion L. Ripley, 91, of Conklin formerly of Ithaca, passed away after a long illness on July 13, 2015. She was predeceased by her loving husband Nelson M. Ripley and parents Clarence and Catharine Landon of Canisteo, NY. She is survived by her devoted son James M. Ripley of Conklin, NY; brother Gilbert (Erma) Landon of Safety Harbor, FL; two granddaughters Melanie (James) Pandich of Binghamton, NY, Beth (Kyle) Bultman Rochester, NY; brother-in-law Burr (Betty) Ripley of Ithaca, NY; sister-in-law Cressence (Ken) Bloss of Spencerport, NY; and many cherished nieces, nephews and extended family. Marion was born in Hornell, NY; grew up in Canisteo, NY and graduated from Canisteo High School. She graduated from the Technical College of Alfred (Alfred State) and worked at Strong Memorial for a short time before devoting her time to her most fond career as a homemaker. Marion was an avid crafter especially in using naturally sourced materials. She enjoyed spending many hours sewing, collecting and making dresses for dolls. She loved to decorate cakes which she was truly talented at and made them for many family, friends and hired by others in the community. Marion was a member of the First Congregational Church of Ithaca, NY and attended Heritage United Methodist Church in Clearwater, FL. She had been a member of the P.E.O. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 1pm at the First Congregational Church, 309 Highland Road, Ithaca, NY; The Rev. Dr. David A. Kaden officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Canisteo, NY at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lourdes Hospice 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850.

Rinchack, David B.  
Rinchack, David B. David B. Rinchack, 64, of Ithaca, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015. Born in Ithaca, he was the son of the late Paul & Helen Rinchack. David grew up and spent his entire life in Ithaca enjoying antique cars, movies, books and he loved to bowl. He worked for many years at Challenge Industries as well as attended the Broome Development Center. He would enjoy a good story, good jokes and was always a joy to be around. He will be greatly missed. David is survived by his sisters Paula P. Meeker & Sandy L. Robinson; his nephews, Jamie Hyle, Richard J. (Angela) Meeker, William G. (Suzy) Meeker Jr., John R. Meeker; and his niece Helen H. (Gary) Jenness as well as many other cousins and a very dear friend Carl Fenton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 23rd at 10 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 the Herson Wagner Funeral Home, 110 South Geneva St., Ithaca. Burial will follow in Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden.
