Camin, Susan Patricia
Camin, Susan Patricia Ithaca: Susan Patricia Camin, of Ithaca NY, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015, at Cayuga Medical Center. Born August 16, 1964 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Susan was what they call a 'navy brat', and moved around some before landing in Ithaca. She attended Ithaca schools, graduating from Ithaca High School, and eventually began working at Challenge Industries. Sue was a great 'boon' to Challenge, and worked in several skill areas before settling in Electronics. She was amazing with anything mechanical, and her skills and agility earned her honors and prizes. Eventually she left Challenge to care for her mother at home, and after her mother's passing, moved to Lakeside, now Cayuga Ridge Care Facility. Susan was a popular addition at her new home, and was always cheerful, very social, had a great sense of humor, loved to tease, had a quick wit - sometimes with a biting edge - and was much loved by all. She was a real chatterbox who loved doing puzzles, hand-held games, reading - especially mysteries - arts & crafts, and anything Scooby Doo! Despite disabilities, the real Sue always shown through in a bright and sparkling manner. She will be sadly missed by family, Fall Creek neighbors, and everyone at Cayuga Ridge. Susan requested no gatherings or services, and will be interred at Calvary Cemetery. Honorariums should be addressed to Cayuga Ridge or the Ithaca Salvation Army. Bangs Funeral Home is assisting the family.
