Allen, Sara Beth  
Allen, Sara Beth Groton: Sara Beth Allen, 36, passed away after a hard fought battle with breast cancer on February 25, 2015 at Cayuga Medical Center, Ithaca. She was a 1996 Graduate of Groton Central School where she met Jason, her husband of 15 years. Sara was accomplished in soccer, basketball and softball. Post high school, she attended TC3 where she studied Early Childhood Education and was a captain for the soccer team. Following TC3, she attended SUNY Cortland and obtained a Bachelors in Education. Sara worked for SUNY Cortland's daycare facility and then at Groton Central School as a teacher aide. Through her work, Sara was always able to light up the classroom with her positive spirit and beautiful smile. During her time at the school, she touched many lives and impacted many of the youth. In 1999, Sara gave birth to Jaedyn, and in 2005 triplets, Elisa, Isaac and Kate. Her focus on academic and athletic hard work combined with the ability to laugh and enjoy life has been firmly transferred to all four of her beautiful children. While forced to quit working, her positive attitude through her illness continued to inspire the school and community and the slogan of her battle "Sara Strong" was evident throughout Groton. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Glenn Munson and paternal grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Ellis. Sara is survived by her husband, Jason; children, Jaedyn, Elisa, Isaac and Kate; mother, Gail Munson; father, Robert Ellis Jr. (Wendy Martin); sister, Jessica Sheedy (David Sheedy); brother, Mike Toolan (Alan Moffit); grandmother, Virginia Munson; mother-in-law, Jannene Allen; father-in-law, Dennis Allen; sister-in-law, Shannon Allen (Bill Francis); and many other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Charles Garbo, Jennifer Fuller and the wonderful staff of Cayuga Hematology Oncology Associates, Cayuga Medical Center, and Hospicare & Palliative Care Services of Tompkins County for their support and efforts in caring for Sara throughout her battle with cancer. A celebration of life will be held on March 8, 2015 at LakeWatch Inn, 1636 E. Shore Drive, Ithaca NY from 12-5pm with a formal ceremony beginning at 1:30pm. Biasillo, Luisa  
Biasillo, Luisa Endicott, formerly of Ithaca: Luisa Biasillo, 87, of Endicott, returned to the Lord Wednesday afternoon, February 25, 2015, in Greenville, SC. She was predeceased by her husband, Gaetano Biasillo. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Gerardo and Emma Sciarra; two sons and daughters-in-law, Albert and Fione Biasillo, Anthony and Gail Biasillo; three grandchildren, Sean, Ian and Adrianna Biasillo; five great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Ida Biasillo, family member, Robin Biasillo; also several nieces, nephews and cousins residing in Italy and the United States. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Endicott, and the former owner and operator of Biasillo Flower Company, Ithaca, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday 5:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church 306 Odell Ave. Endicott, NY with the Rev. James P. Serowik, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Ithaca, NY at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony's Church on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church.

Concannon, Patrick W.  
Concannon, Patrick W. Ithaca: Patrick W. Concannon of Ithaca, NY died February 23, 2015 in St. Petersburg, FL following a brief illness. Born September 25, 1941 in Weymouth, MA, Patrick was the son of the late John and Florence (Rounds) Concannon. He was a graduate of Boston College and received his M.S. from Northeastern University. In 1971, he received his PhD in Physiology from Cornell University. Patrick was an educator and research scientist at the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Division of Biological Sciences at Cornell University. He was also the Founding Chairman of the International Veterinary Information Service. Patrick is survived by his wife of 47 years, Natalie; his daughter and son-in law, Meghan and Stephen Hess of Chatham, NJ; his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Erin Concannon of Manlius, NY; and his five grandchildren, Evelyn, Natalie, David, Kevin and Caroline. He will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and colleagues for his intellect, humor and passion for sailing and travel. A celebration of his life will be held at the Ithaca Yacht Club on Saturday, April 25th at 1 p.m. Gifts in Patrick's memory may be made to the Strong Memorial Hospital Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department, PO Box 270032, Rochester, NY 14627

Stewart, Sibley Alanson  
STEWART, SIBLEY ALANSON Freeville: Sibley Alanson Stewart, age 91, of North Road, Freeville, NY passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health. Sibley was born March 13, 1923 in Whitney Point, NY, a son of the late Harold and Gladys Arnold Stewart. A 1942 graduate of Dryden High School, "Sib" was a dairy farmer on Lake Road, Dryden until 1970 when he became employed at the Town of Dryden as Zoning Officer; at the same time, he was a bus driver for the Dryden Schools. He retired in 1986 and continued to drive school buses part-time through 1994. In his early retirement years, he was also a volunteer driver for Gadabout. His first wife, Barbara Mead Stewart, to whom he was married on August 16, 1947, passed away on June 4, 1981. On October 16, 1993 he was married to Letha Hatfield Sutton. Sib was a member of the Dryden United Methodist Church for 80 years and sang in the church choir for many years. He was a member of several community organizations, including the Dryden Senior Citizens, a 70-year member of the Dryden Grange, a 70-year member of Dryden Lodge #472, F.& A.M. and he was a volunteer and member of the Town of Dryden Historical Society. For a few years in retirement he also sang with the Ithacords barbershop chorus. Sib enjoyed bowling and was an avid golfer; he was a member of the Stone Hedges Golf Course and former member of the Dryden Lake Golf Course. Survivors include his wife, Letha Sutton of Freeville; his sons, Alanson J. Stewart of New Port Richey, FL and Randall K. Stewart of Dryden; a granddaughter, Jennifer R. Stewart of New Port Richey; stepson, W. Mark (Cynthia) Sutton of Dryden; son-in-law, David L. Lane of Endwell; step-grandchildren, Adam (Adrienne) Sutton and Jaclyn Sutton.He was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara; his daughter, Corinne Stewart Lane; and his step-daughter, Sharon Sutton Snyder. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Dryden United Methodist Church with Pastor Harold Wheat officiating. Burial, delayed until spring, will be in Green Hills Cemetery, Dryden. Friends are invited to call Friday at the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main Street from 4 to 7 PM. Members of Dryden Lodge #472 will conduct Masonic Services at 6:45 PM, Friday, at the funeral home. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are directed to the Dryden United Methodist Church, P.O.
