LEONI D. SCHOEMANN
CANDOR, NY - Leoni D. Schoemann, 85, of Candor, NY, died Sunday, December 22, 2002 at Sayre House, Sayre, PA. She was born March 7, 1917, to Louis and Ida (Jacobs) Daniel in Germany. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Kurt. She is survived by a son, Ralph (Joan) Schoemann of CT; a daughter, Jane (Herb) Maas of Owego, NY; and a sister, Gertrude Loeb of NY; grandchildren, Stacey (Jeff) Bergman, Wayne, of NJ, Leslie Schoemann of New York City, Alex Schoemann of Gilford, CT, Nancy Schoemann, Gilford of CT, Daniel Maas of Ithaca, NY, Kimberly (Bruce) Lutz of Compton, MD, Jeffrey (Andrea) Maas of Candor, NY and Aaron (Jennifer) Newman of New York City; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.A graveside service will be held today, Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Temple Israel Cemetery, Conklin, NY. Friends are encouraged to call on the family while they sit Shiva at their residence, 1208 Owego Rd., Owego, NY 13827, or in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Candor Emergency Squad, PO Box 141, Candor, N.Y. 13743, or Sayre House, 1001 N. Elmer Ave., Sayre, PA 18840, or a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are by the Candor Funeral Parlour, 137 Main St., Candor, NY 13743.
