I heard the shocking news of Bob's passing today. Bob was a mentor and good friend who guided me through my first few years as an engineer at Stearns & Wheler, over 20 years ago. His leadership and friendship made the transition into professional life far easier than it otherwise could have been.

My condolences to his family and friends, for this is a huge loss for all whose lives he touched.

Bob, my friend....I will miss you, warrior. Through the years it was always comforting to look you up and give a call. We were young, so many years ago at S&W. I always think of you and smile...My thoughts are with all those who were lucky enough to have known you..

I was unaware of Bob's passing until I read a article in the paper about Mark's accomplishments in baseball. He coached my son Levi. The most respected coach my son has ever had He had a way of pulling the very best out of people, great roll model, leader and a honest person . I feel bad not knowing and always wanting to re-connect with people from the past that left a good positive impact I wish everyone in the family the very best iI know he would be proud of his family. Good luck in the future to them.

I am so sorry for your loss. Bob was a great coach because on top of the hockey knowledge he passed on to me, he taught valuable life lessons that I hope to pass on to my son.

JoAnne and family,

Bob was really a class guy and I am deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Hockey coaching (we knew Bob through the Buffalo Regals) can get crazy, but he always kept an even keel and saw the bigger picture in it all (helping kids develop as people and as players).

He will definitely be in our prayers as will you...

We attended IHS with Bobby and we were deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Pete played football and baseball with him. Our boys connected us 30 years later on a baseball field in New Jersey. It was a small world moment to see him so far from home but even more so to learn we had kids on the same Syracuse team and to take pictures of our son Anthony catching for Mark in the bullpen. You are in our prayers. Nancy (Bloxsom) and Pete Massicci
