Jean Carol English Joubert Obituary
Joubert, Jean Carol English

Jean Carol English Joubert, 77, of Crawfordville, FL passed peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving husband and children. A native of Ithaca, NY, Jean had been a research technician for Cornell Veterinary Virus Institute in Ithaca. She is the daughter of the now-late Foster D. and Bertha Terwillegar English, and a 1955 graduate of Ithaca High School. In her leisure, she found great joy in quilting, gardening and spending time with her family. Jean's passing has left a huge void in the hearts of those who loved her dearly. This is best illustrated in the poem from her children at the conclusion of this obituary notice. Forever treasuring Jean's love and precious memory are her devoted husband, John J. Joubert, Sr., of Crawfordville, FL; loving daughter, Lisa A. (Larry) Sprague, Columbus, OH; son, John J. (Crisstina) Joubert, Jr., Crawfordville, FL; grandchildren, Jonathon (Michelle) Sprague, Boca Raton, FL and Jenna (Adam) Kenyon, Clarksville, TN; great grandchildren, Beckett and Brynn Kenyon, Clarksville, TN; loving niece, Melanie (Gary) Howell, Trinity, FL; and several other nieces, nephews, relatives and loving friends. A private commemorative service will be held at a later date. TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850) 942-1950 is serving the Joubert family. "The moment that you left us, our hearts were split in two: one side was filled with memories, the other side died with you. We often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep, and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon our cheeks. Remembering you is easy; we will do it every day, but missing you is a heartache that never goes away. We hold you tightly within our hearts; and there you will remain. You see, life will go on without you, but will never be the same."

Love you Mom, Lisa and Johnny.
