Marcia I am so so sorry I just learned of Meghan´s passing I had looked for her on Facebook and other platforms wishing I could reconnect for many years, so you could probably imagine how my heart broke when I saw that she had passed away. I´m not sure if you will see this message so many years later, or if you will remember me I had three little girls and named my middle daughter after Meghan because I thought that much of her! I went to her graduation dinner at Cornell you and Meghan had invited me too as well as her graduation party when she lived in the red barn apartment. I´m saddened that we drifted apart and that she never got to meet my now grown Meghan, my Meghan always wanted to meet her because she knows the story on how Meghan and I met at Cornell and why I was so proud she was named after her. I will never forget her and her infectious smile and her even bigger heart! I will never forget you both coming to my house one year at Christmas to bring Christmas joy to my girls when they were so little.

I met Meghan at the Sustainable Biodiesel Conference and was struck by her vitality, her passion, and her enthusiasm. So sad to learn of her passing. My heart goes out to her family.

Meghan lived the the dream...
An old adage comes to mind: its quality, not quantity that matters...
While it is tragic that the world lost her early, many of us can attest that she really lived, she really lived her dream, the dream of contributing to a healthier more nurturing planet...
those of us who knew her will not forget her contributions

Dear Marcia,
My brother, Bill Cooney, told me of your daughter's passing. My heart-felt condolences. I heard about John's passing from my sister Karen (Cooney) Rosendale well after it happened. My late but sincere condolences there, also.
What a lovely tribute to Meghan in the paper. Even though I did not know her, she must have been a wonderful person.
Take care! Be consoled with knowing that you will see her again someday.

Family and friends, we at St. Paul's really appreciated Meghan's help when we were analyzing our needs for insulating the church building. She was such a creative and energetic woman, that we really loved her. We mourn her bright spirit's passing and thank God for the blessings she brought to this world, but know that she is passing to a brighter world.

My thoughts and prayers to the family of Meghan Murphy. What delightful human being she was- always so friendly, warm and vibrant. She never failed to flag me down when she saw me, even though it has been over 10 years since she worked with us as a student.

Several years ago, Meghan and I worked together at a renewable energy event where she gave the keynote address. I had the privilege of introducing her and saw a small part of her life’s dedication and drive to making a just and better world. Her kindness following my heart attack at that time has had a lasting effect. My condolences to her family and friends and my hope is that Meghan's spirit stays within us all.

Marcia and Audrey,
Please know that Meghan will be in my prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up knowing some of the Murphy family and I was a classmate of Audrey's at St. Peter's.
