"Uncle" Perry mentored a whole generation of Plantations work/study guys. I was lucky enough to be one of them. He was wise, patient, loyal, and funny.

Perry- it's still hard to believe that your gone. I still think I'll see you at the Rose with a smile on your face when I walk thru the door. You were my best friend for the best part of my life and I'll never ever forget you. Rest in peace and I'll see you again to resume our travels in the big hunting ground in the sky.

Perry, you have always been upbeat with a contagious smile and laugh. Just a few weeks ago we chatted at the P&C and you were beaming as usual! Goodbye, inspiring one.

Although I'm not sure if I can be there to remember Perry, my thoughts will be with you and his family. He was a true friend of nearly 35 years, and I'll always be thankful for that and, in particular, for the 9 "bonus years."
